I've posted my other gaming tattoo here before so I thought I would share my new(er) edition. He is the second piece in what I've decided will end up being an entire leg of gaming tattoos.

Right after the line work was all finished...

Please excuse what I think is the ugliest floor ever. He was done by the amazing Rhiannon at Shocker tattoo in Albany, NY. She drew him up from photo reference and pretty much read my mind every step of the way. Like the detail of Rapture's "sky"line in the base of the frame. The line work took about 2 hours. The coloring took more like 3 1/2. And just have to mention, she also did the Octopus (which is very very fresh, as in yesterday) and my previous gaming tattoo of "Pyramid Kitty".

Dragon Age Tattoo Ideas Needed

I really want to get a Dragon Age themed tat. I want the Grey Warden motto, but I'd like something a bit more than just text. Any thoughts on something to go with it? Nothing really big- I don't want a sleeve or a whole back piece here. Also, I don't mind tying in DAII things with the Origins motto. The only ideas people have given me elsewear is the griffon, and frankly I don't like griffons. So, ideas would be most appreciated... And pics if someone else happened to do a DA tat.

I wanted something to represent Final Fantasy as a whole, and the idea came to me when I went to Final Fantasy: Distant Worlds and saw the logo. It fits my personality and my view of Final Fantasy perfectly, and I love how it came out. I would have perhaps liked it to be a bit bigger, but for my first tattoo I think its fine. Also I'm not sure if I could stand any more tattooing on my ribcage.

Today I unexpectedly got my second video game related tattoo (I didn't think I'd have the money for it this soon, but the artist gave me a good deal). My first, which I also posted here almost a year ago, was of Navi from tLoZ: Ocarina of Time; {picture here}!

Matt at Professional Tattoos in Canton, Ohio did another one for me. I'm a big fan of the PC bullet hell shooter Touhou Project, and fell in love with Suika Ibuki. This was the result. The pic was taken right after it was done, and it's on the back side of my upper arm. It looks like a strange position because I was actually lying down on my stomach with my arm flopped over a small armrest. She's just about healed now, with a couple little scabs left!

So, I know I'm new to this community and I really hate to do something like this and be 'that guy' but for something like this, I will and deal with the consequences. And jenfoldsfive, please feel free to kill this post if you don't think it's appropriate.

For those of you that read my original post and those of you that haven't, I entered my cybernetic sleeve in a tattoo contest hosted by WRFF-FM 104.5. Voting, online voting, starts today, Wednesday, February 23rd and will run for who knows how long, and I have the chance to not only earn some much deserved recognition for the artists who contributed to me having this amazing piece of artwork with me forever, but also $1000 in prize money. Also, one lucky voter will win $500 just for voting. Not sure if there is some kind of residency restriction for that last bit but 104.5 does have online audio streaming so maybe, maybe not. You can even vote/enter to win once every 24 hours.

But, anyway, to make a long story short (I know, too late), if anyone has a second and is willing to help out, would you mind clicking on the link below and voting for my tattoo? I'm calling out to all the gamers and geeks I can find since although I don't mind loosing to quality work, I'd really hate to loose to an overly pointy piece of tribal b.s. or some excessively cutesie butterfly over shapely ass crack tramp stamp, which I could easily see happening.

Mario and Luigi tattoo

This was in honour of my awesome sister, the Luigi to my Mario (even though I am more of a Luigi fangirl...but I digress). I changed the initials on the hats to match our names, and I meant for it to symbolize how I will always be there to help her reach her dreams. Corny, I know, but we've been through a lot together, and I really treasure our bond. :)

Hello all! I stumbled upon this community not too long ago, and I wanted to share the tattoo that I received just two days ago.

This is the fourth tat, and it's quite frankly my favorite video game. There's a small story behind this game as well.

My grandpa purchased Final Fantasy VII when it was first released and laid it on the kitchen table for me to see when I came home from school. He said I couldn't play it until I scored at least ten points in the basketball game I had that following weekend. He always gave me a goal to attempt to reach before I could get my 'reward'. I was determined to play that game, so I scored ten points. I came home and played FFVII non-stop. It was the first game that actually turned me into a gamer.

My grandfather passed away three and a half years ago, and he was the one that pretty much turned me into a gamer just from FFVII.

I'll be posting some more pictures as it heals, but I wanted to give a back story =) D'Wan Ellington of Under the Gun in Terre Haute, IN used his artistry on the tattoo. It also helped he was a FF fan and a gamer nerd, too! This picture was taken with a cell phone. Once I get home and have time, I'll be taking better pictures with my camera. Hope you guys like it!!

The location of the tattoo is approximately three inches above the knee on the right thigh.

Mass Effect Tattoos

First time here and I admit I lurk this community for a while. Until now.

Recently, I played ( And still I'm playing these days ) Mass Effect 2 and when I met Zaeed Massani and I saw his tattoo at the upper-right arm and I kind of liking it.

However, I never saw this design or style as a tattoo. Does anyone of you know what kind of style it is, or it's just a creation by the illustrator who thought it was cool ? Also, I don't know if I'll make the tattoo with exactly the same, maybe more personnalize.

Anyway, here is the only shot I can find at best about the tattoo I'm talking about.

Just got my newest tattoo addition on Thursday! I'm a big fan of the Okami series, and think that Chibiterasu is one of the most adorable things ever.
This was done by my friend Matt at Professional Tattoos in Canton, Ohio.

It looks pretty bad now since it's all scabby and gross, but this was what it looked like right after it was done!

This was originally started under lousy circumstances by someone that was under the influence of stuff, took forever, and we didn't have time to finish it. About 80% of the line work got done and it sat like that for about a year-and-a-half until I finally got it finished by my friend Beth at Zebra in Berkeley (also works at Frisco in San Francisco). It's less than perfect due to how it was started but it's a hell of a lot better now than it was before and I'm happy with it.

Hiyo! This is my first time posting my tattoos publicly, so I'm pretty nervous. Hope I do this right.

This was my first tattoo, done about 5 months ago. It's the crest of the Archadian empire from Final Fantasy XII. It's my favorite of the series, and Gabranth and Basch are two of my favorite game characters. :) Back of my left leg.

Number two! Link from A Link to the Past. I just got this one retouched yesterday, so I didn't want to take a fresh picture. This one's on my left wrist.

This one was just done yesterday. It's the beginning of a full sleeve of nothing but Kirbies (plus Meta Knight and Dedede thrown in for good measure). I don't know when I'll do my next session, but it'll probably be next month. So I'll post updates if you guys want. :)

These were all done by Carmen at Freaky's in Denver. She's great, and really excited to do the Kirby sleeve. She doesn't get many people that want brightly colored tattoos. :P

My second halfsleeve

I made the jump, started up my second halfsleeve. So in addition to the 14 some characters I have on my left arm, I now have another 9 characters (and space for two more) on my right arm. Large image inside a cut.

I'm using the Big Daddy to cover up my Calvin and Hobbes tattoo. It's my first cover up and I'm a little sad to see it go. Unfortunately, I didn't have the foresight for double video game halfsleeves 6 years ago.

Oh, Yes, This was a cover-up she did of a unfortunate piece i got for my dad when I was like 19.. It was bad and I figured my father would like this a lot better :P
